Glitch Eye - Project 1

These first post are going to be for my first individual project that I am calling Glitch Eye.

The focus of this study is to further extend my knowledge of the blinkscript node in Nuke. Last quarter I coded using the node and created a 2D particle simulation type thing and I want to now use that to incorporate it into a actual project.

Below is a sample of what the simulation looks like with no other interfering material. I can change the scale, magnitude, velocity, and color very easily within blinkscript.

Below is the first edit of the video I found to use with this project. I do not own video, I found it on Pexels.

Then after some discussion with Joe, I decided to get as close as I can to the eye in the video without it getting to grainy. So I made a second iteration.

Now my idea is to have my effect within the girls eye balls and also on parts of the background of the walls. In the very first shot I want to have it on the disco ball then go into her eye, to simulate that it came from the ball. I want to have more time to fully flush out what I want it to look like, but below is first simulations of stills I have created. These are really rough stills.

SHOT 01 - ROUGH STILLS

SHOT 01.5 - ROUGH STILLS

SHOT 02 - ROUGH STILLS

Now what I am working on is rotoing each of the eyes in the shots and I am almost done with the last one shot. Then I am going to mess with my setting of my effect, and set it up to look nice. With integrating it more and etc.
